1)  We are all guilty of sin, when measured to God’s Righteousness

Romans 3:23 Everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God   

Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did my mother  conceive me

2) There are consequences for us being sinners- (eternal DEATH!)   We all need the Savior, Jesus Christ   to rescue us 

                                                                                                         

Romans 5:8 God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us WHILE we were still sinners.   (God is not expecting us to "go get right",  on our own, and then come to Him, nor can we.)

Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of                   God    Ephesians 2: 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

3) How do I make things right with God? (How do I become a Christian? or Get Saved?)

Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised  Him from the              dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your            faith and are saved.

Colossians 1:21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your  evil behavior.
Colossians 1: 22 But now He has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present  you holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation
